The Vital Importance of Library Teapots

At my workplace we were recently looking through some library history books from the 70's to be recatalogued. Then we came across this gem. The things we find!

  1. I love the reverence for the esteemed teapot; where I work, Starbucks seems to hold the hallowed ground. But, I did enjoy your clipping, and now I long for a cup of Earl Gray.

  2. All teapots are vital. This is why I have a collection of over twenty, just in case I should ever be in a position where I might be unable to find one at an essential moment.

  3. Bellezza - it's true, tea is the aqua vitae around here ;)

Alex - Great plan! I only have 4, not including the decorative ones of course.

  4. What a wonderful find! I cherish my tea pots, and I can't start my day without a cup (or two or three) of tea. Right now, it's Assam.

    1. Definitely need tea to start the day! I have a favourite blend of Darjeeling and Assam that I mix from our local teashop. Love a good loose leaf :)

  6. For this past Christmas I got a book-themed teapot that I was told was explicitly for work, and I use it there often.

    1. I don't have my own teapot at work, but I do have my own mug and stash of tea...
