At my workplace we were recently looking through some library history books from the 70's to be recatalogued. Then we came across this gem. The things we find!
I love the reverence for the esteemed teapot; where I work, Starbucks seems to hold the hallowed ground. But, I did enjoy your clipping, and now I long for a cup of Earl Gray.
All teapots are vital. This is why I have a collection of over twenty, just in case I should ever be in a position where I might be unable to find one at an essential moment.

ReplyDeleteBellezza - it's true, tea is the aqua vitae around here ;)
ReplyDeleteAlex - Great plan! I only have 4, not including the decorative ones of course.
What a wonderful find! I cherish my tea pots, and I can't start my day without a cup (or two or three) of tea. Right now, it's Assam.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely need tea to start the day! I have a favourite blend of Darjeeling and Assam that I mix from our local teashop. Love a good loose leaf :)
DeleteThe single most important object in the workroom--how wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI think it still is, LOL!
DeleteThat's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteFor this past Christmas I got a book-themed teapot that I was told was explicitly for work, and I use it there often.
ReplyDeleteI don't have my own teapot at work, but I do have my own mug and stash of tea...
