Translated Titles from the past year

I have been trying to read women in translation all year round, not just in August, since #WITMonth began. Some years I do better than others -- and some years, like this one, I just fall behind on reviews.

But I still have some to share! Here's what I have read & reviewed between the end of WIT Month 2021 and now:

Stars & Poppy Seeds / Romana Romanyshyn & Andriy Lesiv; translated from the Ukrainian by Oksana Lushchevska

Violeta / Isabel Allende; translated from the Spanish by Frances Riddle

Dora, Doralina / Rachel de Queiroz; translated from the Portuguese by Dorothy Scott Loos

The Mad Women's Ball / Victoria Mas; translated from the French by Frank Wynne

Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982 / Cho Nam-Joo; translated from the Korean by Jamie Chang

An Elderly Lady Must Not Be Crossed / Helene Tursten; translated from the Swedish by Marlaine Delargy

A Short Cut to Paradise / Teresa Solana; translated from the Catalan by Peter Bush

Things We Lost in the Fire / Mariana Enriquez; translated from the Spanish by Megan McDowell

The Ladies From St. Petersburg / Nina Berberova; translated from the Russian by Marian Schwartz
