  28. I've been forgetting to leave comments, but I'm up to 9/13 now. This month's CanReading:

    Cora Sire/Behold Things Beautiful
    Ronald Bates/The Wandering World
    Margaret Atwood/The Handmaid's Tale

    I suppose Cora Sire's novel fits the War and Remembrance theme--it's about a coup in an imagined South American country, and coming to terms with the Disappeared years later.

  29. Bye to November - Welcome December !
    Read several war/remembrance stories -none were specifically Canadian - though references were made in Susan ELia Macneal's newest release, Prisoner in the Castle [Scotland setting for war training]
    I do need to update here at some point as i'm at 25/13
